Closed Ampoule Filling Machine is specially designed for filling and sealing Type D pre-sterilized closed ampoules with high precision and efficiency. Engineered on the advanced slant movement (Angle Travel) principle, this machine effectively handles variations in ampoule neck diameters, thicknesses, and ovality, ensuring smooth and reliable operation across standard ampoule sizes. Built on a robust stainless steel square pipe frame and fully enclosed with attractive matt-finish stainless steel coverings, the Closed Ampoule Filling and Sealing Machine meets strict GMP standards. It features a large bottom aperture for easy and thorough cleaning, making maintenance quick and hassle-free. The elevated pendant-style electrical control panel enhances operator safety and convenience during operation. Widely used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, veterinary, and chemical industries, this high-performance ampoule filling and sealing machine delivers consistent results, superior hygiene, and dependable performance for both small and large-scale production.
This Closed Ampoule Filling and Sealing Machine is ideal for filling glass ampoules ranging from 1ml to 10ml, with certain models capable of handling larger ampoules up to 30ml. It offers flexible filling volumes from 0.5ml to 30ml in a single dose, making it highly versatile for various injectable liquid products. Available in multiple configurations, the machine delivers high-speed performance of up to 250 ampoules per minute. Customers can choose from popular filling systems including Peristaltic Pump Filling, Servo-Controlled Filling, and Piston Pump Filling for superior accuracy and gentle product handling.
Designed for closed-mouth (Type D) pre-sterilized ampoules, the machine performs Nitrogen Purging, Liquid Filling, Preheating, Sealing, and Collection in a smooth slant movement process. It features a reliable No Ampoule – No Liquid system that prevents costly liquid wastage. As a trusted manufacturer and exporter from India, Adinath International offers robust and user-friendly Closed Ampoule Filling Machines in Single Head, Two Head, Four Head, Six Head, and Eight Head models to suit different production requirements.
Closed mouth/pre sterilized ampoules loaded onto infeed hopper of the machine. From where it has been received to receiving rack through starwheel/cassette. The moving rack which moves horizontally collect one/two/four/eight ampoules from the receiving rack and transfer the ampoule to the machine in left to right in an inclined position. During ampoule movement sequentially below operations performed:
At the end duly filled and sealed ampoules get collected automatically onto collection tray of the machine. Ampoules now can be collected for further inspection and/or sticker labeling operations.

These features make the Closed Ampoule Filling Machine highly suitable for sterile injectable products like vaccines, antibiotics, biologics, and oxygen-sensitive formulations where maximum sterility and product integrity are critical.
A Closed Ampoule Filling Machine (also known as Closed Mouth or Type D Ampoule Filler) is specially designed to fill and seal pre-sterilized closed-mouth glass ampoules (Type D). It includes an extra station that opens the pre-closed ampoule, followed by nitrogen flushing, precise liquid filling, pre-heating, and flame sealing — all in one compact monoblock unit. This makes it ideal for high-sterility injectable products where ampoules come already sealed from the glass manufacturer.
Open ampoule machines handle pre-opened (Type B & C) ampoules, while Closed Ampoule Filling Machines are equipped with an additional opening station to handle pre-sterilized closed-mouth (Type D) ampoules. The closed system offers higher sterility assurance with reduced human intervention and contamination risk, making it preferred for sensitive injectables like vaccines, biologics, and oxygen-sensitive formulations.
The machine supports a filling range of 0.5 ml to 30 ml in a single dose and can handle glass ampoules from 1 ml to 30 ml (model dependent). It delivers high precision volumetric filling with an accuracy of ±1%. Options include piston pump (standard), peristaltic pump, or servo-controlled filling systems.
Output depends on the model:
This translates to a maximum production of up to 12,000 ampoules per hour, making it suitable for medium to large-scale sterile production.
Key features include:
These features ensure superior sterility, product stability, and regulatory compliance (cGMP, FDA, WHO) for injectable liquids.
