Type D pre-sterilized closed ampoules are filled and sealed using a Closed Ampoule Filling Machine. In order to handle the wide diversity in ampoule neck diameters and thicknesses of available standard ampoules, the machine was developed on the idea of slant movement of ampoules during filling and sealing. The filling unit is constructed on a square pipe frame made of stainless steel and is completely covered with attractive matt-finished stainless steel coverings. Additionally, the machine has a sizable hole on the bottom side for simple cleaning. For convenience and security, the pendant-style electrical control panel is removed from the machine. The pharmaceutical, cosmetic, agricultural, and chemical industries can use the Amoule Filling & Sealing Machine for ampoule filling.

Glass ampoules with a capacity of 1 to 10 millilitres are suitable for this machine. In some variations, it can even fill huge ampoules up to 30 ml. In a single dosage, the machine may fill between 0.5 and 30 millilitres. With several model options, the apparatus can fill up to 250 ampoules every minute. Peristaltic pump filling, servo-controlled filling, and piston pump filling are the most widely used filling mechanism options that we provide. Working Principle of Closed Ampoule Filling Machine

Closed mouth/pre sterilized ampoules loaded onto infeed hopper of the machine. From where it has been received to receiving rack through starwheel/cassette. The moving rack which moves horizontally collect one/two/four/eight ampoules from the receiving rack and transfer the ampoule to the machine in left to right in an inclined position. During ampoule movement sequentially below operations performed:

 

  • Pre-gassing with Nitrogen
  • Filling the product
  • Post Gassing with Nitrogen
  • Pre-heating with LPG & Oxygen combination
  • Sealing with LPG & Oxygen combination

 

At the end duly filled and sealed ampoules get collected automatically onto collection tray of the machine. Ampoules now can be collected for further inspection and/or sticker labeling operations.
