The Adinath International Automatic six-head ampoule filling and sealing machine uses the Angle Travel principle and has an enhanced filling capacity of 0.5 to 10 millilitres, making it suitable for a range of ampoule sizes from 1 to 10 millilitres with an open mouth. Depending on their sizes, the machine with six heads can boost the output to 80 to 150 ampoules per minute. This model can fill and seal up to 150 ampoules per minute, with a minimum of 80 ampoules per minute. The ampoule filler machine is designed to accommodate the vast range of ampoule neck diameters, thicknesses, and ovality of available ampoules by using the principle of slant movement of ampoules during filling and sealing. The unit is constructed on a S. S. Square pipe frame, completely covered with S. S. coverings, and has a beautiful matt surface. It also has a huge aperture on the bottom side for complete cleaning. For convenience and security, the pendant-style electrical control panel is raised from the machine.

Working Principle of Automatic Six Head Ampoule Filling Machine

Empty washed & sterilized ampoules loaded onto infeed hopper of the machine. From where it has been received to receiving rack through starwheel/cassette. The moving rack which moves horizontally collect six ampoules from the receiving rack and transfer the ampoule to the machine in left to right in an inclined position. During ampoule movement Pre-gassing, Filling, Post Gassing, Pre-heating & Sealing Station perform filling and sealing operations. At the end duly filled and sealed ampoules get collected automatically onto collection tray of the machine.

Filling and Sealing Process:

 

    • Ampoule Handling: Sterilized ampoules are loaded into a slant hopper, and a synchronized star wheel delivers them one by one (or in groups of six) to an eccentric transport rack. The rack pauses sequentially for pre-gassing, filling, post-gassing, pre-heating, and sealing operations.

    • Filling Capacity: Suitable for filling 0.5ml to 10ml or 1ml to 20ml ampoules, depending on the model. Some machines support up to 30ml with minimal changeover parts.

    • Filling Mechanism: Utilizes volumetric piston pumps, peristaltic pumps, or servo-driven systems for precise liquid filling. Nitrogen flushing (pre- and post-filling) is available to prevent contamination and oxidation.

    • Sealing: Features pre-warming and sealing stations using combustible gases (oxygen and LPG/propane). Specially designed rollers rotate ampoules during sealing to ensure uniform, high-quality seals with a sealing efficiency of up to 99.8%. Waste tips are clipped and collected separately.
