The filled bottles travel along the conveyor belt and are guided into the in-feed star wheel by the in-feed worm. As the bottles move through the in-feed star wheel, they pick up caps one by one from the delivery chute. The descending rotary sealing heads then grip the bottle necks with the required pressure. Sealing is performed in a programmed roll-on manner. Accurate positioning of the caps is achieved mechanically through a rotating unscrambler that directs the caps correctly into the chute.
